CAMPAIGN BUZZ
During Women’s History Month, we proudly honor the extraordinary women whose courage, vision, and leadership have shaped our nation and our communities.
We celebrate pioneers like Shirley Chisholm, the first Black woman elected to Congress; Stacey Abrams, who has worked to expand voter access and civic engagement in Georgia; and Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice, a transformative leader in healthcare education right here in our state.
We honor the brilliance of innovators like Katherine Johnson, whose calculations helped send astronauts to space, and the courage of leaders like Harriet Tubman, who risked everything for freedom.
But Women’s History Month is also about the women in our daily lives — mothers, grandmothers, educators, small business owners, veterans, healthcare workers, and community advocates who quietly strengthen our neighborhoods every single day.
As a husband to Mary for over three decades, a father and grandfather, veteran, and community leader, I know firsthand the impact strong women have on families and on the future of our communities.
This month, we do more than celebrate — we recommit ourselves to ensuring opportunity, fairness, and respect for every woman and every young girl who dares to lead.
People First. Community Always.

CELEBRATING WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH

Teachers for Vincent Williams
This testimonial comes from a local educator who worked alongside me in the classroom and saw firsthand the daily challenges and opportunities our schools face. Their perspective reflects what it truly means to support teachers, students and public education from the ground up. Through collaboration, respect and a shared commitment to student success. Voices like theirs matter and they are exactly why I continue to advocate for strong schools, supported educators and real investment in our children’s future.
