CAMPAIGN BUZZ
This April, in recognition of Autism Awareness Month, we reaffirm our commitment to building a more inclusive, understanding, and supportive community for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Autism is not a limitation—it is a different way of experiencing and interacting with the world, and it deserves respect, acceptance, and meaningful support.
Across our communities, countless individuals with autism bring unique strengths, talents, and perspectives that enrich our schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods. However, many still face barriers to access, education, healthcare, and employment. That is why awareness must go beyond recognition—it must lead to action.
We are committed to supporting policies and initiatives that expand access to early intervention services, improve educational resources, increase employment opportunities, and ensure families have the support systems they need. By working together, we can create environments where individuals with autism are empowered to succeed and are valued for who they are.
This month—and every month—we stand with the autism community. Let us continue to listen, learn, and lead with compassion as we work toward a future where inclusion is not an aspiration, but a reality for all.

Teachers for Vincent Williams
This testimonial comes from a local educator who worked alongside me in the classroom and saw firsthand the daily challenges and opportunities our schools face. Their perspective reflects what it truly means to support teachers, students and public education from the ground up. Through collaboration, respect and a shared commitment to student success. Voices like theirs matter and they are exactly why I continue to advocate for strong schools, supported educators and real investment in our children’s future.
